Food by Virginia

Web Design & Development Paul Daunais is an artist and chef inspired by anthropological aspects of culinary traditions. Under the pseudonym Food by Virginia, Paul explores traditional cuisinal rules to create contemporary, fantasy-like works through catering, collaboration and consultation. I worked alongside Paul to bring his fantastical creations to life for the web. The world of Virginia is at the same time fantasy and rooted in tradition, so I sought to create a space that respects the traditions of design while saving room for some whimsical flourishes.
